Today, Coop attended his very first book signing. A good friend and colleague, Leigh Attaway Wilcox, recently broke into the children's book market with her debut touch-and-feel story, All Better, and she was making her mark at a local Barnes & Noble.
Coop and I just had to go and snag a copy (and a couple of pics, of course!! Proof that we knew her "when," lol!). We got there early and it was a good thing. There was a line when we showed up and an hour into the two-hour signing session, she was all sold out - way to go Leigh!!!
While Coop can't really appreciate the interactive "healing" powers of the precious piece just yet (5 seconds on Leigh's lap and he had it in his mouth ... of course), this is defintely a story I see us reading time and time again ... especially when words like boo boo and band-aid enter our world.
Congrats again Leigh, you're a total inspiration!

Coop looks like he is trying to get the pen to write a book himself!!! ha ha I KNOW he is going to be a smart boy...of course I do have a tendency to be biased...love melanoma mimi
